She calls her knightmare Charlemagne. She made it herself over the course of 10 years.
Physical Appearance: she has light blueish-purple eyes, and her hair is a light black. Her skin is very pale, and body build small and flexible. She wears the normal clothing for a knight, a black shirt with gold trim that reaches to her waist and a white jacket that reaches just above her stomach. White pants, instead of the mini-skirt that most female knights wears. Her cape is a light purple. Outsides of duties she wears tight blue jeans and sneakers, with a whie tank top, with a red pull-over hoodie, she cut the sleeves off, and cut the hem at the neck to widen it. Her jeans are ripped at the right knee, she wears black half-finger gloves, and a black hat. She tries to keep it looking simple and raggy. Whens she's out and about, she wears good black pants and a blue blouse, but she keeps it untucked. When she trains she just wears the traditional clothings of her past, the long wide pants, with the kimono. wherever she is her hair is always pulled back.
Personality: Kayame is stubborn, and hates being told what to do by someone of equal or lesser rank. she can only barely take those of higher ranks telling her. She likes to do things her way. She has a bad temper, but is learning to control it. She's quiet and hides any emotions she might have. She trains as much as she can. She's devoted to her home land, and to her family. she tries hard to find where she really belongs. Kayame has an inner conflict, trying to decide wither she should follow her past or her future. And she tends to make choices on a whim. She never runs after guys, says she doesn't have time for them, but that doesn't mean she doesn't care for them. Her family is important to her and she'd do nearly anything for them.

Background: She was born on April 11. When she was two her father began the long hard training to become a samurai, her mother wanted her to become a lady at court, so when she was 8 her family sent her the mainland. she lived at a noble's home learning all the formal manners and such. She hated every minute of it. she was seen by the knight of one at a competion that she was secretly in. it was a sword fight. She nearly won, the knight of one was impressed by her skills and required her guardians to let her train to be in the army, by the time she was twelve she had made it into the training academy. When she was 16, she became the knight of eleven. When she was 17 she was moved into area eleven. When she saw all the troubles there, she secretly turned sides, not even making herself known to the black knights, just secretly sending information and helping them. She wants to leave the empire and join him, but her mother's dying wish was that she continued her training as a court lady and to do that she has to remain there. She's torn between her past and future, and isn't sure which to choose. She knows she's risking her life on both ends.
Roleplay example: Kayame looked at the wood splinters strewn over the stone court yard. She was breathing heavily.
I'm losing my touch...She said quietly. She looked at her eyes' reflection in her dusty sword blade. They seemed tired and confused. She gritted her teeth and grabbed her sword tighter. Swinging left and right, up and down, in many various moves, quicker then the eye could follow easily, she hacked away at the wooden post before her. Flips and turns, making the routine as hard as her body could handle. Kayame only stopped when her cell went off. She glanced at the caller id.
Cornelia[/color] she wondered. She answered it quickly. from the other side, she could hear the princess shouting, a man began talking to her. It was Knight Gilford. kayame knew what that meant. Before Gilford could finish his greeting, Kayame said
I'll be there in five. and hung up. she handing her sword to a maid to be cleaned as she cleaned herself. When she entered the princess's quarters soon after, she was neat and presentable. Kayame bowed before Cornelia.
"Milady....she said formally. Cornelia pointed to a chair farther down the line, before she continued speaking. She was saying something about Zero and the trouble he was causing. Kayame ignored her. Zero was a hero to her people, who was she to deny them that after what has happened? The Japanese or elevens as they're now called, didn't trust her and called her a traitor. Being called a traitor is what killed her parents. They couldn't live with the shame of their daughter. No matter how strong Kayame tried to become, she couldn't rid her self of that name.
"Lady Kayame" someone called her. It was an Japanese man! No other then toudo-sai! she stared at him! Her old teacher, here! She watched as the guards dragged him away.
Didn't he know that I was among them? she wondered as to answer her question his voice echoed through the hall. "TRAITOR" There was that name again, she half-smiled. Kayame looked about the hall, the princess wasn't pleased with the annoyance, but others found it amusing that someone from her past encountered her once again. Kayame shrugged.
He's completely crazy. she said. She looked down the hall, hoping to see one last glance at her teacher who had taught her so much.
Damn this life! she thought.
