The sun was shinning really high in the sky, the alleyway was empty, except for a little girl who was sitting against one building's wall. She had a small piece of bread in one of her hands, and had the other one in the ground. She had her face down, staring at the ground, watching some ants that were taking the leftovers of the bread.
Some pieces of wet and destroyed cardboard and metal sheets were in the ground not so far away from her. The rain from the last night seemed to have destroyed what once was her only way to protect herself from rain and cold. Her shirt, now gray, almost as her eyes, was full of big holes and did hardly fit on her.
"Fabiola!" a small boy shouted while running toward her. The blonde haired girl, raised her look and half smiled to the boy, giving him the piece of bread. "Here, I saved you some." She said while she stood up. "What's wrong?" she continued.
"Wanna come with us to Shinjuku? We found an empty house there." the boy said and then started to eat the piece of bread.
"Hmm... We can't have a good future in there and you know it..." she answered him in a sad tone, rubbing the kid's head. She knew it wasn't safe to live in an eleven's guetto.
"I'm leaving with big brother anyway, I dunno if I'll see you again Fab." the kid answered to her and took her hand, putting a small stone in it. "Don't forget me." he smiled.
"I won't." She said holding the stone tight. "Take care and good bye Hiroshi" she gave a small bow to the eleven boy and saw him leave after his brother, who was waiting for him in the end of the alleyway with a small backpack.
She quietly walked to the opposite side. Holding tight the blue stone the boy gave her. She smiled while some tears fell from her eyes, that had started to change into a light purple tone. Fabiola sat under the shadow another building was dropping and lay over her knees, waiting for the night, once again.
The next day, she felt somewhat, hungry. While walking through the city, she found out an academy, the Ashford's academy. And she decided to try some luck inside.
