Physical Appearence: Never removes his lab coat, and frequently seen around the Lancelot/other Knightmares. He has long, light purple hair, and large, coke-bottle glasses. He wears a green turtleneck under the lab coat, along with jeans and dress shoes. He wears a green armband on his left arm.
Personality: Quirky, to say the least. May or may not be insane, but he is crazy when it comes to Knightmares, specifically his brainchild, 7th- Generation Knightmare Frame Lancelot. He enjoys poking fun at others, and is very straightforward in conversation. He sees people as tools, only good for one thing or another, especially Knightmare pilots. He leads a research institute, called Camelot, which by Prince Schneizel's permission follows no rules. This is why, when given a large budget, spent almost the entire thing making the Lancelot, then bought a transport trailer. He always seems to be in the right place at the right time to be able to activate the Lancelot.

Background: Lloyd grew up immersed in science, which led him to his views of people only as tools. He does, however, value Knightmares above all else. He is obsessed with his magnificent brainchild, the Knightmare Lancelot. He eventually becomes a Knightmare developer in the Britannian army, serving under Schneizel el Britannia.
Roleplay example: It was what had grown to be a typical battle situation, the Britannian forces being outsmarted and outmaneuvered by the Black Knights. In Britannian HQ, officers were arguing about what to do in the situation at hand, when a strange, purple-haired man appeared on the main monitor.
"Who are you?", demanded one of the officers.
"Lloyd Asplund, Research and Development. I can't help but notice that your men are quite pinned down."
"And you can do what in this situation?", growled another of the disgruntled officers.
"Why, what a silly question. What can I do? I can unleash my creation upon the Black Knights.", Responded the scientist.
"Do what you will."
"Ok! Suzaku, fire up the magnificent glory that is the Lancelot! Let my white knight reign supreme!", Lloyd shouted.
As the Lancelot launched, Lloyd whispered under his breath, "Just don't let any harm come to my baby."
