"This unit, its impressive, but was it necesary to spend your entire budget on it? As I understand, aside from this unit and a transport truck, you have no other projects here. The funds you reqested could have built at least three Knightmares." He reached out his gloved hand to touch the mecha. "And one other thing, as I understand you claim to have found a devicer, but my Purebloods were never contacted about it... Doesn't that seem like a waste?"

"Mess with you?" Lloyd said, "I wouldn't dare!" "Calling the Lancelot only impressive... you obviously haven't seen in in action. I am aware of my budget, or current lack thereof, but it was either three flawed Knightmares, or the embodiment of perfection that is the mighty Lancelot! The right choice was obvious, really..." he trailed off. "As for your purebloods, well, they're yours, and that's the problem. My mech, my devicer. I need someone I can influence, someone I can use to perfect my system. Kururugi just happened to be the perfect candidate. A perfect system is worth using an honorary Britannian. Any other questions today?"

"Jeremiah, you should really take care of the steam shooting out of your ears," Lloyd said with a chuckle, "Jealousy won't get you anywhere in the business of war. Besides, Kururugi is better than any of your purebloods, I'll bet not one of them is good enough to win a battle against a "filthy eleven" and a seventh-generation Knightmare like my beautiful Lancelot."
