The blue haired girl screamed for them to let her out, she'd done nothing wrong or at least she thought she'd done nothing wrong and she glared at the people through the glass in the room she was stuck in.
They came... Those men.... In the white coats.... To put her back.... Back in 'there'....
She screamed in fear when she saw them and she even made a break for it, five,six, seven men it took to get an injection in her arm, her stress level elevated, and her feelings going haywire, where was Clayton when you needed him?
SHUT HER UP!
She still screamed after the injection her nightmares taking hold of her and soon enough she was taken and dropped into a vat of that green clear fluid, tubes put up her nose for oxygen, a couple of syringes in her back to keep her sleeping, and tied down to the bottom of the tank.
Simple. She had been silenced but it was almost certain that she'd die due to the raised stress levels.

He had recieved the phone call and was on foot, he heard a screech and saw a knightmare. That could only be the knight of eleven who was Euphemia's entorage at this evenings dinner.
"You're going to help Rena right? Then I'll work with you, save her life, I'll do the hard part when I get there, I know how to calm her..." It was simple, he knew how to calm her, in reality she was almost like a child without any real knowledge and what she had seen so far confused her to no end, but she dealt with it, she learned quickly but now she had lost control over something.
"Rena is very special.... Because she has a power that no normal human being can ever hope to posses.... I am not meant to be giving you this information but if it will help you to understand her outburst then so be it.... She can sometimes see what has happened in a persons past, she can only do it once but so many people around her at once can often sometimes cause her to have what we'd call a mental break down because of the bad things that have happened in a persons life, they influence the way that she thinks about people." Clayton spoke before he waited.
"So I am asking for your help.... Could you possibly get me there faster than I can get there on foot?" He asked simply as he stood he waited he didn't want Rena to die, no he wouldn't let Rena die end of story.

hop on. and hold on tight! we'll be there soon! kayame said. one thing for sure. she never wanted anyone to go through pain, not euphie, not Rena, not even Clayton. yes, as much as Clayton and her never agree, Kayame wasn't going to let Rena die because she refused to help.
Something I have to tell you though. I'm under direct orders to kill Rena if she isn't calmed down by tonight. if you can't due it be then, one of us will have to die. i took an oath long before I came to the empire, and i can't forsake it now. kayame warned.

hop on. and hold on tight! we'll be there soon! He climbed in to the hand hopefully she wouldn't just crush him for what he did in the first place. After all her being messed around with was his stupid fault anyways.

The tone was very sadened he even shed a tear, but he blinked for a second this was the first time he never actually wanted to kill someone or something. To him Rena was a god, she had power that not even he could fathom.
"They'll have her stasis which means she will be quiet but when taken out she might start up again." He spoke softly.
"Please.... Rena.... Don't die.... Hold on.... I'll reverse what I did to you.... I'll give you back your memories for better or worse.... Maybe it will make you understand" He hadn't meant to but he spoke outloud. He'd tortured that girl for so long, telling her that her nightmares weren't real that she had no parents when he knew otherwise. He had been there... When her parents were killed. He had just caught a glimpse of his father killing them. He decided to carry on the mans research and become a scientist because of that.

She didn't mean it like that, she had honor she hadn't meant to beg him to do it for her, but in the depths in her heart she was hoping that it wouldn't go that far.
"They'll have her stasis which means she will be quiet but when taken out she might start up again." Stasis, Kayame knew that well. was she like Rena? no, she knew the truth, but Rena. was she really not human?
"Please.... Rena.... Don't die.... Hold on.... I'll reverse what I did to you.... I'll give you back your memories for better or worse.... Maybe it will make you understand" Clayton said. Kayame knew this wasn't meant for her, so she remained silently.
So I was right, Rena was a human. till Clayton came along, but why would he do such a thing?

Sitting silently for the rest of the journey they soon arrived and Clayton jumpped from where he was, it was pretty high and he had to make a roll when he hit the ground, before getting straight to his feet and sprinting off down the halls, only to come to the chamber where they kept her, the room that she had been in previously was a mess, bits of blood on the walls, and many of the objects in that room shattered and broken. He took in a sharp breath and held it before he made a face and ran off down another hall to her 'room' no she wasn't there.
Yet again he sprinted off but this time to a different part to the stasis chambers, the large tube like things which were filled with a life preserving green liquid and it was then that he came across her. Naked as the day she was born. He gasped before he saw a wound on her mid section and he looked rather angry indeed. Sprinting to her tube he pressed his hands upon it.

She slept, silently trapped in her nightmares, the murder of her parents, the capture and pursuit of her, the experiments and she screamed inwardly, her body screaming for her to wake up and she did, her eyes shot open as Clayton slammed his hands on the glass and she gave him a look of hate, it was pure hatred and she wanted to kill him. Before she struggled and managed to get her arms free, yanking the metal things from her back she looked to where her feet were and she took a deep breath before pulling the tubes from her nose and then bending down she untied her feet. Then she started to kick at the glass not caring for if Clayton helpped her or not.

He blinked as he heard a bang in return from his and he looked at the tube there she was kicking it a crack, another crack and she was trying to get out. He smiled at her before he went to the nearest fire box and pulled out the axe that was in there. Smiling he gestured for her to get back and once he thought it was a safe distance he started swinging that axe at the tube, he was going to free her and since she was awake now it'd be to late to save her if he went to open the damn thing. So the axe was the only way. Smashing it into the glass it cracked more before he left a hole and the liquid started pouring out of it.

Air... She needed air and she could feel herself going in and out of consciousness before the liquid started to go down a gap at the top of the chamber she was in gave her a last bit of hop and she pushed from the bottom to the top and treaded water breathing the air that was in there now.

He carried on makign the crack larger and larger before the entire thing smashed and the hole was made massive enough for a person to be dragged out with the flow of water.

A sudden yank and she was gone through the hole laid on the floor in the liquid mess shivering, and naked, and she started to cry. It wasn't like her to cry at all and finally the world had taken it's toll.

Clayton saw the girl dragged out and immeditaely he took off his coat and put it on her before he moved and grabbed a lab coat and put that over her as well since it was warmer that way, bending down he scooped her up before he made a saddened face.
"Rena... I think you probably hate me by now... But I have something to show you... I hope this is the right thing to do and Kayame here came with me." He looked to Kayame.

"Hi.... I'm sorry I messed up your dinner plans Kayame..." That was all she got out and then she curled up in the mans arms simply because he was warm and she was drenched.

As Clayton jumped off, Kayame stopped her knightmare. She pulled the key out and opened the hatch, she jumped out.
Clayton, wait! She cried. If Rena was going crazy, she couldn't let Clayton what was dearest to him! She went straight to the Stasis chambers. She knew them well. The first years after her country was taken, she was placed in them at least once, to calm her rebellious spirit, all because of him! The knight of one flashed into her mind, she gritted her teeth. She got there soon after Clayton got Rena out. She looked alright, just drenched, and cold. Maybe this would be easy, but then again nothing in life is easy. Kayame pulled her cloak and white jacket off. Revealing her black sleeveless shirt, and a long scar down her right arm. rena was crying, and it was making Kayame's eyes start to water. Seeing Rena like that was too much.
"Rena... I think you probably hate me by now... But I have something to show you... I hope this is the right thing to do and Kayame here came with me." Kayame smiled slightly at Rena as Clayton mentioned her. But this was serious, was Clayton going to tell Rena the truth. or was this a trick.
No, he wouldn't do that to her. The only capable of that, is that man! She clenched her fist as she remembered her guardian that she swore to kill.
"Hi.... I'm sorry I messed up your dinner plans Kayame..." Kayame shrugged.
Like I would care to spend my day with a racist general, who could care less what happened to me or my people. She looked at Clayton, and smiled.
But it seems you no longer fit with that category. So I'll be coming around quite often. She held out her hand.
Come on Rena, let's see if I can get some clothes for you out of that mess. She smiled, But you're going to have to wait here, Clayton. She handed him her gun.
Just in case. She said softly. She walked away to see if she could find something else for Rena.
Kayame was gone for a long time, finally after about ten minutes, there was a gun shot! Someone was saying something, but it was too far away to hear. Another shot, and the sound of metal falling to the floor.

But it seems you no longer fit with that category. So I'll be coming around quite often.

Just in case. He watched as the girl set off with Rena in tow and he sighed women just didn't listen.
Kayame.... She's not all that bad... So maybe not all Japanese are as bad as I was taught when I was younger. He blinked and he folded his arms he then started to clean up the mess as best he could until he heard gun shots and sprinted down to the end of the stasis chambers to see what the fuss was all about, the sight made him widen his eyes.

Kayame told rena to wait outside the room as she went into to find clothes. There were things in there that kayame didn't wish her to see, plans for future experiments, failed experiments. Not that she didn't trust her, just this would be painful. As Kayame looked in some galss jars at various body parts, one gun shot exploded one of them, the glass shards cut her face and arms, barely missing her neck and eyes. A voice from her past was heard from the shadows!
Princess Kayame, my little princess. Why are you dressed like that? Why did you betray me? Kayame pulled her sword out. Her hand went down to her holster, only to find it empty!
Clayton has my gun! She thought franticly. A tall black haired japanese man emerged from the darkness. His dark eyes were set on the knight. A half-smile was on his lips.
Itgaio I thought you died. she said quietly.
or do you wish I was dead? He said. She gripped her sword tighter.
What's happened to him?
After you left your country for our enimes' I continued to train under our teacher, till he dishonored me for stupid reasons, because he favored you! You were always better! Now with you out of the way I can claim what should be mine, and you'll be out the way for those in Britannia as well! He lowered his gun.
Aren't you going to fight back?
The way of the samurai. Kayame thought. She raised hr sword and ran at him, he pointed the gun at her, and shot! Kayame faltered, her sword which she had held tightly, fell from her hand. as it hit the stone floor it made a clanging sound. Kayame looked at the boy, he was smiling! she fell forward, her eyes closing with loss of blood. Itgaio walked over to her body.
Poor little princess... he said softly. He looked up as the sound of footsteps reached his ears, Kayame began to stir. She wasn't dead yet, as a young blond-hair man ran into the room, Itgaio pointed the gun at her.
Move closer and she will die.
From her half-closed eyes, Kayame could see Itagio's feet, and someone else. but her mind couldn't tell who it was, she tried to get up, both her mind went black, and she fell down again.

Move closer and she will die. Clayton froze, he saw the girl on the floor, looked to the man cocked the pistol and fired without a word, not a second though he just fired, fired again, until he emptied the clip. That was when Rena decided to come in the room.
She eyed the man and Clayton and then Kayame and her eyes teared up before she felt the rage rise and her geass activated.
A sudden heat and Clayton looked to Rena her eyes were set on the other man, and she looked angrier than he had ever seen her, those terquoise eyes burning like various things in the room, with that he moved and grabbed Kayame before he dragged her outside.
"Beg for mercy for I shall show you only a little as your body sizzles and burns, no one hurts my friends and gets away with it."
"RENA GET OUT OF THERE CALM DOWN AND CLOSE THE DOOR LOCK IT, THERE'S ONLY ONE WAY IN AND OUT OF THAT ROOM!" Clayton Yelled and Rena heard him before she backed off.
"Count yourself lucky..." She stated before she left and locked the door so he couldn't get out and then she knelt down.
"Rena go over there and hand me the first aid kit, I can get the bullet out with the tweezers and then fully patch up the wound. She'll be okay but until then we need to get this sorted out first..... Kayame..... Kay-chan can you hear me? Listen I'm going to remove the bullet and then I'm going to patch you up. Also I shall run you the med labs and I'll stay with you okay? Just do me a favour.... DON'T DIE!" Clayton's last words were full of concern it was strange for him to be so concerned about Kayame, a japanese girl, and he held her close to him holding her as he blinked those blue eyes tears forming in them. Maybe he wasn't such a bad guy after all.
Rena came back and her took the tweezers before he leant over the girl in his arms.
"Kayame this will hurt a lot." He stated before he used the tweezers to remove that bloobied bullet and he put it in his pocket, before he used a bandage to patch the wound a little before he ran her to the med labs to clean her up properly. He'd need to.
So he scooped her up and started to run, Rena followed and once in the med labs she pulled on one of the black and white strapped suits that she was used to wearing.
Clayton hooked Kayame up to everything that he could, the thing that went bleep with your heart beat, the mask that released oxygen, and everything else. But he put a different mask on her and hooked up the gas to knock her out.
An hour or so later he'd finished and he was worried to the point where he thought he might throw up. Yet he held it down, before he decided to wake her up.
"Kayame?.....Kay-chan?....." A new nickname given to her by Clayton, he didn't even mean to call her like she was so close to him but she was now classed as a friend since she helpped him to get here in time for Rena.

Itagiao was hit by the bullets in the chest and legs. He saw a blue-haired girl come in, as the boy dragged Kayame away from him.

The girl said. Itagaio was scared! He never was told about someone like her.
"RENA GET OUT OF THERE CALM DOWN AND CLOSE THE DOOR LOCK IT, THERE'S ONLY ONE WAY IN AND OUT OF THAT ROOM!"The boy shouted. Itagiao noticed that she was in front of the only door, he tried to push his way past her, to where kayame and the boy where. But the girl shut and locked the door.
"Count yourself lucky..." He pounded at the door with all the strength he had. He called Kayame's name over and over. begging her to help him, but she couldn't hear him. they could hear from outside a gunshot, then everything fell quiet behind the door.

Kayame could hear voices, but she couldn't wake up. She was trapped in a dark nightmare of forgotten memories. She felt something being pulled from her, and wrapped around her, then she was lift and felt herself moving, she was laid on a cool surface and something was placed over her mouth and nose. In her mind she was thinking about her past. The days she spent with todo-sai, training to become a samurai. The times she spent with her cousin suzaku in the warm sun. The day she said good-bye to her family and home, so she could live her mothers dream. she remebered the friends she made. euphie, Nunnaly. Playing with the princes and princesses of the royal family. Then it turned dark. people were crying out, they were in pain, her country was taken and she was removed from the royal palace. That man came for her, placed her in the Statis when she became unruly. hard training, sleepless nights. Then light, now she spent her days with Euphie, planning with Zero, dreamed of freeing her home. her mind wandered over her friends of old. Todo, Suzaku, Clovis, Lelouch, Nunnaly, Itagiao, tha man she tried so hard with under todo-sai. Now she had new friends, Euphie, Rena, Clayton, she had new hopes in Zero. somewhere far from where her mind was she could hear someone calling her.
"Kayame?.....Kay-chan?....." She slowly following the voice back to reality. She opened her eyes, and saw Clayton and Rena. She smiled.
My head is killing me. Where's Itagiao? She said quietly. She sat up slowly, and her shoulder hurt, but it wasn't unbearable.
So did you show Rena yet? She asked, eager to get out of there.

My head is killing me. Where's Itagiao?
"Rena was going to burn him to a crisp but I think shooting a full clip in his direction should put him off especially when Rena locked the door... I'm not going to.... Let anyone..." A soft red rose in the blonde's cheeks.
"I'm not going to let anyone hurt you again...." He stated eyes averted.
So did you show Rena yet? He shook his head.
"No... I was too busy worrying about you to even go near that computer." He stated as Rena wandered around the med lab. He stood up and moved towards the thing, tapping in a few passwords he put a few pictures on slide show for Rena to watch and he backed away sitting back next to Kayame.
"Pictures.....Wha....." The girls mouth hung open slightly as she watched the pictures flick through, her when she was little, with her mother and father, loads of them, and then soon enough pictures of their dead bodies pictures of Rena being taken away and carried off to some place. She couldn't move.
"NO.....NO,NO,NO,NO.... My nightmares can't be real I was always told that they weren't true...." She was starting to sound distressed.
