What C.C. said made perfect sense to, Lelouch. But, what Suzaku mentioned cut Lelouch deep. More so, since it came from him. Even if he did not mean it like that. Lelouch, made his way out into the hallway with his sister heavy on his mind. And C.C. behind him, but not on the for-front of his mind. He colapsed up against the wall. And placed either of his hands his face, guiding it down to his eyes. Masking him from the world. He wanted to assume no one was around, though, he did not care at this point. He just slid down the wall, and sat with his legs extended into the hallway. Bending at the knees, so that he sat with them in the air but away from his chest. All he was able to think about at this moment, was how it was his fault he was unable to fix things.

Kallen was literately running down the hall to her class when she turned the corner. "Damn not again." she said as stopped abruptly looking down the hall at him trying to tell if he saw her when she realized it.
Wait a minute. What's wrong with him. He looks more miserable then normal.
She walked over to him and knelled down next to him gently touching his arm.
"Hey Lelouch, are you okay? "

For a second, it would appear to her as though he was thinking of just giving up, and falling over dead right there. Though, when she got ahold of his shoulder, the shroud of darkness that was covering his thoughts, cleared. He looked up at her, with a look he never gave her before. And all he could say was, "Thank you..." In a low, very sad tone. And he got up. Clearing his head, and he went back to the way he was before Suzaku ever said anything. He slowly started to take a few steps back into the class.

"I'm sorry Lelouch, I didn't mean to.." Suzaku said as he stepped out of the room. He noted the red haired girl and how familiar she looked but he had bigger things in mind. "Lelouch, can I visit her? Nunally I mean, we had so much fun together back then. If she's anything like I remember, I'll bet she's still just as sweet." Suzaku smiled. "I'm just happy you're both..." He held back the word alive as the girl was so near.... "still well."

"Huh'? Oh yeah.. Right after school.." Lelouch, said to Suzaku. Though, he seemed pretty distracted. Most the girls in the room, were gawking over, Lelouch. Though, he was to distracted to care. And now that he brough in the new guy. Some were even considering him popular, even if he was a 13. Since, he hung around Lelouch, he had to be cool. It was almost time for lunch. And at that thought, Lelouch sighed lightly.

"Great!" Suzaku's concern seemed to lessen, Lelouch and Nunally were alive and that was wonderful news. Almost good enough to let him forget the nasty feeling that the encounter with Zero had left. Part of that feeling just wouldn't shake. But he knew for sure that he'd have a number of good stories for Cecile when he got "home."
"So, where's the cafeteria here?" Suzaku asked his friend as he looked up and had his eyes met by the girls of the class. He could make out wispers; "An eleven!" "...but Lulu knows him." "I wonder if he has an eleven girlfriend." "If he's like Lulu..."
[Milly ducked her head in the door once more. "Yeah a mysterious transfer student and with our beloved Lelouch no less. Play you're card right ladies and those two might start fighting for you!." She smiled again like a gleeful imp, "Wouldn't you fight for me Lelouch?" ] With this the girls bust into giggling.
"Well my friend, I might ve finding out what you're life is like faster than I thought." His comfort was returning, he only hoped his friend's would too.

For a moment, he snapped out of his rut. He thought of a clever comeback. "Oh? I would only assume, naturally of course. You could take care of yourself. However, it is like a gentleman to save any damsel in distress. 'Eh, Suzaku?" He said, looking over to him, and grinning a little. Making an attempt to lead off the feelings of his small anxiety.

Suzaku blushed and looked around. "hehe Well of course, that's only what a proper man would do."
[Milly chuckled, "You're a fun one! You heard it here first ladies, in distress and one of these two dashing knights might come riding to save you. Maybe I should get in trouble before the dance and I might get a real catch." She could have her fill of flirting, Shirley wasn't around to get upset with her and that made it all the more fulfilling.]
Suzaku chuckled. "I think I dug us a deeper hole Lelouch. I think we should grab a bit bofore I dig us too deep."

Lelouch, laughed lightly at Suzaku's priceless reaction. And as he asked Lelouch for a bit to eat. Lelouch, for old time's sake, could not help but say 'yes', just before the bell rang. He got up, gathered his things together. And into his bag. Of which he tossed over his shoulder, and held it there. "Lets get going, I'll pay." He said, with a small smile.

Kallen gasped slightly when Lelouch looked up at her, she didn't know why but the way he looked at her just startled her. It was almost like he was staring into her soul and it made her feel but vulnerable she didn't know why. But there was something more she felt but she couldn't put her finger on it, something more.
"Lelouch.." she said quietly as she watched him get up and leave.
What was that? She thought as she stood up and walked slowly down the hall towards the cafeteria but this time it wasn't an act but it was cause Lelouch confused her into a daze.
